
Students at the 2025 Mass Spectrometry and Biotechnology in Medicine Summer School will be set to benefit from Dr. Ian Anthony, Assistant Professor at the M4i Institute at Maastricht University.
Dr. Anthony joined us for the first time at our 2024 event, where he delivered lectures and workshops to our students on informatics, helping students to take their first steps towards or develop their existing skills in automating their data processing.

Automated data processing is critical to Dr. Anthony’s research at M4i, where he works developing chemical imaging tools that deliver rapid, high-quality, and clinically interpretable data. His group focuses on advancing mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) by improving throughput, spatial resolution, detection, sample preparation, and data processing.
